Ball & Boyd Public Adjusters, Inc. work with homeowners and business owners who have experienced losses from fires, floods, water damage, and other perils. Tim Ball

Tim Ball has been a licensed Public Adjuster since 1989. Prior to forming a partnership with Greg Boyd, Tim was part of the adjustment firm of Ball Brothers Adjustment Company. Tim has extensive experience in assessing property damage claims, inventory calculation and reconstruction, business income and extra expense losses. Thousands of insurance claims have been negotiated to a successful resolution for his clients. Tim has been nominated frequently by his peers to assist in resolving disputed losses; he is known for never quitting before a fair result has been achieved. Tim is an active member of the Massachusetts Association of Public Insurance Adjusters. He is licensed in Massachusetts and is a graduate of Bridgewater State University. Greg Boyd

Prior to forming a partnership with Tim Ball, Greg Boyd was an independent insurance adjuster from 1978-1989. He has been a licensed Public Adjuster since 1989 and worked as an adjuster with the firm of Coll, Sacchetti and Associates based in Plymouth MA. He has extensive experience appraising, estimating and adjusting commercial and homeowner claims. Greg has adjusted numerous catastrophe losses on the south shore with a major concentration on the Cape and Islands. He is a qualified expert witness and has been before the Barnstable and Plymouth Superior Courts in Massachusetts testifying regarding various property damage losses. A member of the Massachusetts Association of Public Insurance Adjusters, Greg is licensed in Massachusetts and Vermont. A graduate of Bentley University, Greg resides in Sandwich, MA with his wife Pamela. gregboydpa@comcast.net

Jerad A. Britton

Jerad began with Ball & Boyd in 2007 and has been a licensed PA since 2009. Prior to joining Ball & Boyd Jerad was a field adjuster for a major insurance company. Over the course of his tenure, Jerad has developed extensive expertise of both residential and commercial insurance claims. His construction background provides a thorough understanding of assessing property damage, the reconstruction process, and negotiation of insurance claims. Jerad's experience allows him to communicate clearly and thoroughly with his clients as he guides them through the insurance claim process. Jerad graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a degree in Economics. He resides with his wife and two sons in Mashpee, MA. jeradbrittonpa@comcast.net

Stephen D. Curtis

Joining Ball and Boyd Public Adjusters, Inc. in 2010 Stephens experience with property loss and insurance related claims spanned nearly a decade. Starting in 2002 he conducted site investigations to assess the extent of damage and potential exposures; or liabilities, resulting from oil and/or hazardous materials (OHM) related property losses. As a field investigator from 2005-2008 he completed cause and origin investigations for coverage determination where his exposure to property loss was broadened to include water damage, indoor air quality issues, and mold assessment. As a project manager in the restoration industry from 2008-2010, Stephen obtained certifications from the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certifications (IICRC) for Fire and Smoke Restoration (FSRT); and Water Restoration (WRT). He was also certified by the Institute for Environmental Education (IEE) as a Microbial Remediation Supervisor (CMR). Stephen has handled fire, flood, mold and OHM insurance claims ranging from hundreds to hundreds of thousands of dollars and was licensed as a Public Adjuster in 2010. With his varied experiences in the insurance industry he is adept at handling all facets of your property loss. Stephen Graduated from Fitchburg State College in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He currently resides with his wife Amy and their three children in Plymouth, MA. scurtispa@comcast.net

Derek Schofield

Prior to joining Ball & Boyd Public Adjusters in the beginning of 2014, Derek worked as an independent insurance adjuster for more than a decade. His knowledge and understanding of residential and commercial claims, and his exceptional professionalism and expertise in appraising, estimating, and adjusting has given Derek the competitive edge necessary to be successful in settling claims to the proper resolution. Derek’s competence in the insurance industry and his effectiveness in meeting his client's needs are evident in his claims; ranging from the hundreds to the hundreds of thousands of dollars, including numerous catastrophe events throughout the United States. Derek is licensed as a Public Adjuster in both Massachusetts and Rhode Island, is a graduate of Roger Williams University, and currently resides in Cumberland, Rhode Island with his son.derekschofieldpa@comcast.net

Adrian Godfrey

Adrian is responsible for the personal property inventory division of Ball and Boyd. Documenting and estimating damaged personal property following a loss is crucial to our success. Our attention to detail helps to ensure our clients receive the compensation they deserve. Adrian’s team assesses and inventories all damaged property and compiles a detailed estimate for such property.  A graduate of Northeastern University with an MBA in Economics, Adrian resides in Mashpee, MA agodfrey@comcast.net

Clerical/ Financial Department

Our clerical and financial departments provide ongoing support and customer service to our clients as well as liaisons with our adjusters when they are at your loss making sure client information as well as loss information is properly conveyed. Our clerical staff is instrumental in preparing personal property claims as well as analyzing and organizing building holdback, replacement cost, and living expense claims. Our associates are skilled, knowledgeable, and experienced loss experts who prepare very detailed estimates of your loss. These estimates are in a form very familiar to insurance company adjusters and are skillfully developed and presented on your, our client's, behalf. Our team of professional public adjusters and loss experts will then discuss the extent of the loss with the insurance company staff, adjusters or their experts for all aspects of your claim.
